Riley Keough
American actor
Danielle Riley Keough. Born in Santa Monica, California, to singers Lisa Marie
Presley and Danny Keough and Danny Keough, she is the grandchild of actress
Priscilla Presley and the singer Elvis Presley. Keough was raised mostly by her
father in Hawaii and Los Angeles, and additionally lived with her mother in
California and Tennessee. At the age of 15, she began modeling, with
appearances at fashion shows for Dolce & Gabbana and Christian Dior in
addition to being featured on the cover of Vogue. Keough made her feature film
debut when she was 20 years old, appearing in a supporting part in the musical
biopic The Runaways (2010), portraying Marie Currie. After The Good Doctor
(2011) her role was in Jack & Diane (2012). After that, she was cast as
Magic Mike (2012), the film was a minor role for Steven Soderbergh's comedy
film Magic Mike (2012). After her appearance in Yellow and Kiss of the Damned
in 2012, Keough was cast in the action film with a big budget Mad Max: Fury
Road (2015). In 2016, Keough had her breakthrough role as a law
student-turned-escort in the first season of the anthology series The
Girlfriend Experience, executive-produced by Soderbergh and based on his 2009
film of the same name. Her role received praise from critics and she was
nominated for an award called the Golden Globe Award for Best Performance by an
actress in a restricted motion-picture or series created for television. Her
subsequent performance as a wayward young woman in the drama American Honey
(2017) earned her further acclaim as well as an Independent Spirit Award
nomination for Best Supporting Female. Keough was the main character in the
apocalyptic horror film It Comes at Night (2017). Keough then reunited
Soderbergh to play Logan Lucky, a heist film. In the year 2018, she played in
several thrillers and horror films, including Lars von Trier’s The House That
Jack Built, the Neo-Noir Under the Silver Lake and Hold the Dark. Keough was
the leading character in the 2019 psychological horror film The Lodge. She was
followed by another role in Zola (2020) as a comedy-drama. Keough plays the
role of Sandy Harrison, Netflix's 2020 release The Devil All the Time.
