Renee Kathleen Zellweger
Renee Kathleen Zellweger is a daughter
of Kjellfrid Andreassen and was a former midwife as well as a nurse from
Norway. She was born on April 25 1969 in Katy. Emil Erich Zellweger is her
father. He is a Swiss engineer. The couple got married in 1963. Renee is a
sister to a brother named Drew Zellweger, a marketing executive who was born on
the 15th of February the 15th of February, 1967. As a member of the drama club,
Renee became interested in acting. In Austin she also took an acting course and
decided to consider acting as a career. She wanted to be an actor when she
finished her studies, but Hollywood can be a difficult field to enter. Renee
decided not to quit Texas and went to audition at Houston for roles. Matthew
McConaughey (another Hollywood rising star) was her friend while she was
working on the set of Texas Chainsaw Massacre II: The Next Generation (1994).
Renee saw him working on a film and auditioned. The role was given to her of
Love and an offer of a 45 (1994). The role was a huge success and earned her
the respect of many that she decided to move to Los Angeles. Her breakthrough
came from another role in The Whole Wide World (1996). Cameron Crowe was busy
with casting Jerry Maguire (1996) starring Tom Cruise. Crowe was watching
actresses such as Bridget Fonda and Marisa Tomei when the performance of
Zellweger on The Whole Wide World (1996). He auditioned Zellweger, and felt
certain he had found his Dorothy Boyd. Renee was able to continue her huge
successes with smaller independent films. Her films received even more praise
from critics and was certain that she would be able to reenter large-budget
Hollywood films. Meryl Streep was the co-star in One True Thing (1998). Also,
she starred with Jim Carrey in Me, Myself & Irene (2000) and began to
be romantically involved with Carrey shortly thereafter. Bridget Jones's Diary
