Paula Faris
Paula Faris is an American journalist
who previously worked as a television correspondent for ABC News. She is famous
for her work as co-anchor for Good Morning America Weekend from 2014 to 2018 as
well as as co-host of The View from 2015 to 2018. Prior to that, she was
co-anchoring World News Now as well as America This Morning. After graduating,
she worked in several communications-related jobs including an operations
position at Mills/James Productions in Columbus, Ohio. Due to the lack of TV
opportunities she worked in sales for radio. After a few years of working as a
production assistant at WKEF/WRGT, she was eventually allowed to anchor and
report on occasion. From 2002 to 2005 she was the weekend sports anchor and the
weekday sports anchor for the WCPO-TV station in Cincinnati. After her contract
expired in 2005, she was a anchor and sports reporter for the NBC affiliate
WMAQ-TV in Chicago from November 2005 to December 2011. She was hired by ABC
News the news division in December. The 2nd of January, 2012, she debuted on
ABC's World News Now and America This Morning. At times, she was a fill-in for
Good Morning America as well as the correspondent. Then she was promoted to an
New York-based reporter on all ABC News programs. She was the host of America
This Morning and World News Now's last episode on January 22nd, 2013. After
Bianna Golodryga left for Yahoo!, her debut as co-anchor on Good Morning
America Weekend was scheduled for August 9, 2014. News. News. On August 3 in
2016, it was announced that they had renewed her contract for its twentieth
season. Season 21 also got renewed along with her hosting duties as co-hosts.
She was most visible during the 22nd and 21st seasons on the series.
